Bar, Plates Restaurant, London

We were commissioned by interior designers Design and That to make a centrepiece bar for Plates, a new plant-based fine dining restaurant in Old Street, London. Led by acclaimed chef Kirk Haworth and his sister, Keeley, Plates celebrates nature and sustainable craft.

To make the bar, we sourced timber from felled London-grown oak trees, salvaged by our partners at Fallen and Felled.

The bar features panels with an organic carved texture, with frames in a contrasting deep cognac finish.
