Aurora lamp

The Aurora lamp presents an interplay between form and texture. Its base, carved from solid English oak and stained a deep black, features a hand-sculpted wave motif—each chisel mark intentionally preserved.

The shade, created by Antonia Claudie, is made from 100% organic, Fairtrade, GOTS-certified silk. Hand-dyed using turmeric root and powder, the pattern emerges through a rusting process with reusable metal, eschewing chemicals and wastewater.

Each lamp is a singular expression—its subtle irregularities are intrinsic to the hand-carving and hand-dyeing processes, rendering every piece unique.
